[BACKDRP.FM] is an underground electronic music brand rooted in Columbus, Ohio. We exist at the intersection of DJ culture, event production, and the kind of electronic music that doesn't make it onto mainstream playlists — Jersey Club, Bass, Dubstep, Disco House, UK Garage, Baile Funk, and everything in between.

We believe electronic music is more than sound. It's a living culture built by DJs, producers, dancers, and listeners who show up for the music itself, not the spectacle around it. That culture has always thrived in the margins, in warehouses, basement venues, and late-night spaces where the right record at the right moment means everything. That's the energy we're trying to carry forward.

We throw free events because we think access matters. Good music shouldn't be behind a cover charge. Our events are open spaces for people who are curious, passionate, and ready to move, whether you've been in the scene for years or just found your first record you can't stop playing.

On top of the events, we publish DJ mixes and guest sets on YouTube and SoundCloud. a growing archive of sound that documents what's moving us and the artists we believe in.
